Rules of Conduct Form
BEHAVIOR AT CAFTA (CONNECTICUT ACADEMY FOR THE ARTS AND THE BEACON VALLEY GRANGE:
Before, During and After the In The Hills and Down The Valley designated time period children are expected to conduct themselves quietly and to be supervised by a parent or adult at all time. We have the privilege to be able to use CAFTA and the Beacon Valley Grange and therefore we don’t want to loose this privilege. It is extremely important to clean up each location and to leave it in the same condition as you found it. Our behavior is a reflection on all of as well as the entire home school community.
BEHAVIOR IN CLASSROOM:
Each child is a unique individual; therefore, we must be respectful of their strengths, weaknesses, and personal belongings. We will only speak in positive manner about people and to people. We will listen when others are speaking and focus on the person who is speaking.. We will not use this time together as a “play date”. We will use the presented materials in the manner expected. We will follow directions at all times.
We will be interacting with many adults (parents, staff and others) therefore we must conduct ourselves respectfully by using proper language at all times. Please appreciate the adults because they are giving their time and energy to make this club successful for you. You must be kind and attentive to the adults presenting and assisting during each class.
ZERO TOLERANCE:
This is a group endeavor failure to comply with the list above or spirit of this contract will result in being asked to leave the In The Hills and Down The Valley Cooperative. We are all working hard to give our children a fun, hands-on, learning adventure. This contract is to keep the lines of communication open and to share in the experience with our children.
